Why is my identity validation still in a In Progress status and asking me to complete email verification when I already did?

I am waiting for an Identity validation to complete that is still showing up as "In Progress" for over a week. The details say that I should "Please complete your email verification." I already completed email verification and there is no longer an "Action" for me to take.

Can you please confirm if I need to continue to wait or if there's something I should do to complete the validation so I can begin to use the Artifact Signing account?

    I had to resubmit a new Identity validation which I was able to complete successfully and then I was able to create my Certificate Profile and begin to use it for trusted signing.
