    Sorry for the delay in reply. I've been offline.

    Windows is showing input activity from your microphone, which means it is working correctly. Microphones don't produce sound on their own; they only capture it. If you're expecting to hear your own voice through the speakers while speaking, that's not enabled by default. To do that, you need to turn on monitoring (Listen to this device) in the microphone properties under Sound settings.

    Do it this way:

    1. Press "Windows + R", type mmsys.cpl and press Enter;
    2. Select the "Recording" tab;
    3. Right-click on the microphone and select "Properties";
    4. Select the "Listen" tab;
    5. Tick "Listen to this device" and select the output device;
    6. Click "Apply".

    After this, you should hear your voice through the selected speakers or headphones.

    Just to be sure, is this the outcome you were hoping for? If not, please give me more details so I can better understand what you need.

    Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

    Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    Please clarify the following:

    Does the microphone have a standard audio connector (Jack connector) or a USB connector?

    Also, share a screenshot of your system information.

    • Press "Windows + R", type msinfo32 and press Enter.

    Maximize the window and use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.

    Looking forward to your reply.
