I have 3rd party passwords enabled, and SMTP Auth enabled, yet the app password is not recognised at login. What other steps must I take?

    • Are you using a work or school Microsoft 365 account, or a personal Microsoft account (such as Outlook.com)? 
    • Is the mailbox hosted in Exchange Online, or is it connected through a hybrid or third‑party mail system?
