Getting Attendance Report after Meeting has Concluded

Hello,

Wondering if it is at all possible to get an Attendance Report after a Teams Meeting, if this wasn't enabled before or during the meeting in question. There is no "Attendance" Tab at the top of the meeting where I've seen it before- hoping there's a work around to enable after the fact.

Thank you!

    Hi @Kerrane, Kaila

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concern regarding retrieving the attendance report after the meeting has ended.

According your concern, if the Allow attendance report option was not enabled before or during the meeting, then an attendance report will not be generated, and there is no supported way to retrieve or generate it after the fact.

To ensure you can download attendance reports for meetings in the future, please enable it using one of the options below.

    1. Enable it before the meeting (Teams desktop)
    • Open Teams and go to Calendar.
    • Select the meeting, then select View event.
    • Select Options.

    • Under Participation, turn on Allow attendance report, then select Apply.
    1. Enable it during the meeting (Teams desktop)
    • In the meeting window, select Controls and open View more options.

    • Under Participation, turn on Allow attendance report, then select Apply.

If the Allow attendance report option wasn’t turned on before or during the meeting, an attendance report can’t be generated after the meeting has ended. There’s no workaround to enable it retroactively; the Attendance tab and downloadable report only exist for meetings where attendance reporting was allowed at the time.

    For future meetings:

    1. When scheduling, open Meeting options and under Participation, turn on Allow attendance report and select Apply.
    2. During a meeting, open More options in the meeting controls, go to Participation, and turn on Allow attendance report, then Apply.
    3. After the meeting, go to the meeting chat → Attendance tab → Download to get the .csv report.

Only organizers and co-organizers can view and download these reports.
