Answers may appear in Chinese (or another language) when the display or preferred language for Windows, the browser, or the specific site is set to that language, or when an automatic translation feature is enabled.

To stop seeing answers in Chinese on a Windows 10 PC, change the display and preferred language settings and restart affected apps:

1. Open Settings → Time & Language → Language & region.
2. Under Windows display language, select English.
3. Ensure Country or region is set to a location that uses English, not a region where Chinese is the default.
4. Sign out and sign back in, or restart the device.

If the issue is only in a browser (for example, on Microsoft Q&A or other Microsoft web apps), adjust the browser’s language preferences so English is the top preferred language and remove or move Chinese below English. Some Microsoft web tools also follow the browser language even if the Microsoft account language is English.

If using a feature with automatic translation (such as Microsoft Q&A moderation tools), verify that English is selected as the base or target language so content is translated into English instead of Chinese.
