How can I recover my lost worlds after the 1.26 minecraft update?

Hi, I updated my Minecraft Java from 1.21.11 to 1.26 and when I went to play all my worlds where gone so I told myself that I would check late and I just made a new world to check all the new stuff. But now I would be very happy if I could get my old worlds back.
