Link my learning to a private email

Question

What are the instructions to link my MS learning account to both my work email and private email. I would like to have access to my Badges and Trophies.

A Microsoft Learn profile can have multiple login accounts associated with it, including both work/school and personal emails. Up to five work/school accounts and one personal account can be linked to the same Learn profile, and any of them can be used to sign in and access badges and trophies.

To link both work and private email accounts to the same Learn profile and keep access to badges and trophies:

1. Sign in to the Microsoft Learn profile that currently holds the badges and trophies.
2. Go to the Microsoft Learn profile settings page (Users → Me → Settings).
3. In the login/account management area, add the other email account(s):
   • Add the work/school account if currently signed in with a personal account, or
   • Add the personal account if currently signed in with a work/school account.
4. Complete any required authentication for the newly added account(s).

After this, any of the added login accounts can be used to sign in to the same Learn profile, and the same badges, trophies, and XP will be available regardless of which linked account is used.

Note: If certifications or progress exist under different, separate Learn profiles, content can sometimes be moved by linking accounts and using one profile as a bridge. This requires access to a work/school Learn profile and is done via Settings → Login account management → Linked accounts, adding and then removing accounts so that progress transfers while accounts are separated again.
