How to speak with a Viva Glint consultant to get started with a survey

Our HR Director left our company. She had administrator access to Viva Glint. My colleague and I will now be in charge to launch the 4th iteration of our Employee Engagement Survey using the same historical set of questions. We don't know where to start, who to speak to, etc. We need a live voice to help us. Who can help us?

Hello De Roo, Dirk , thanks for explaining the situation.

If your previous HR Director was the only Viva Glint administrator, the first step is to make sure that admin access is reassigned. Microsoft now provides a dedicated Viva Glint Tenant Administrator role in Microsoft Entra / Microsoft 365. This role allows someone in your organization to manage Viva Glint settings and open support requests without needing Global Administrator permissions. A current Global Admin in your tenant can assign this role to you or your colleague so you can manage Viva Glint again. If you are not sure who your Microsoft 365 admin is, please refer to this article: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/how-do-i-find-my-microsoft-365-admin-59b8e361-dbb6-407f-8ac3-a30889e7b99b

Once you have the appropriate role, the official way to speak with a Microsoft Viva Glint specialist is to open a support ticket through the Microsoft 365 admin center. This is the only supported channel to reach Microsoft’s Viva Glint support and customer success teams for live assistance, including phone or callback options. For detailed steps, please see: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/viva/glint/contact-support/get-support-viva-glint

When submitting the support ticket, it’s helpful to clearly mention that:

    • Your organization has previously run Viva Glint engagement surveys and wants to reuse the existing question set.
    • The former Viva Glint administrator has left the company.
    • You need assistance validating admin access, survey configuration, and launch readiness.

If your organization originally purchased Viva Glint through a Microsoft partner or an enterprise agreement, your Microsoft account team or partner may also be able to engage a Viva Glint–enabled partner for hands‑on consulting.

I hope this information is helpful. If you have any other questions or are unsure about any of the steps, please don’t hesitate to ask.
