If you have an exam scheduled, then you may be blocked from changing your name and you should see an error message and a link to contact the Credentials Support to request a name change.

To update the name shown on Microsoft certification records and Microsoft Learn:

1. Update the Microsoft account display name (used across many Microsoft services):
   • Sign in to your Microsoft account.
   • Go to Your info.
   • Select Edit name.
   • Enter:
     • First name: Manjunatha Ramachandra (if a separate middle name field is not available)
     • Last name: Bhat
   • Complete the Captcha and select Save.
   • Allow up to 24 hours for the name to update everywhere.
   Guidance for changing the Microsoft account display name is described here: sign in, choose Edit name, change it, and save.
2. If the certification profile (Microsoft Learn / Credentials) still shows the old or incorrect legal name (for example, on exam registrations or certificates), open a certification support request so the certification team can correct the legal name on the certification profile:
   • Use the Microsoft Credentials Support / Learning help page to create a support request and ask for a legal name correction for the certification profile.

If the certification exam is delivered through a proctor (such as for GH‑300 or other role‑based exams) and the legal name is wrong or duplicated, certification support is the correct path to have the legal name updated before the next exam.
