Hello,

I am trying to create an Azure for Students account, but I am facing an issue during the registration process.

After entering all my academic details correctly, the page does not proceed to the next step. It seems to get stuck, and I am unable to complete the account creation.

I have ensured that all the information provided is accurate. However, the issue still persists.

Kindly assist me in resolving this issue so I can successfully create my Azure Student account.

Thank you.

I think the signup stops when the student chk drifts off‑sync n leaves a pending lock in the acct‑graph…

try it once in a clean priv win, n if it still won’t move support can clear that lock or rebind the school mail so u can finish clean…

To move past the academic details step and complete Azure for Students signup, verify the following and then retry the registration:

    1. Confirm eligibility and prerequisites
      • Ensure the requirements for Azure for Students are met:
        • Age 18 or older.
        • Currently a full-time student at an accredited, degree‑granting 2‑year or 4‑year institution.
        • Able to verify academic status using the institution email address (for example, ******@university.edu).
      • This offer is limited to one Azure for Students subscription per eligible customer. If an Azure for Students subscription was already created with the same academic identity, a new one cannot be created.
    2. Use the correct academic email
      • Make sure the institution (university/college) email address is used when asked to verify student status.
      • If there is both a personal and a university email, prefer the university email for verification.
    3. Check browser and session issues
      • Clear browser cache and cookies, or open a private/incognito window and try the signup again.
      • If the page still hangs, try a different browser.
    4. Verify profile and account data
      • Before starting again, sign in to the Microsoft account profile page and confirm that basic profile information (name, country/region, etc.) is valid and consistent with what is entered during Azure signup.
    5. If the problem persists
      • If all eligibility conditions are met and the page still does not proceed after multiple browser attempts, contact Azure support using the options listed under “Contact us for help” in the troubleshooting article (forums, @AzureSupport, or a support request if a support plan is available).
