Purchased Office Home and Student in Sept 2022 for my Mac. It no longer works on that device and asks for 365 subscription. That should not be necessary but now understand I must reinstall the app. I possess the original product key but no longer seem to have access to the outlook.com email account associated with that key and that same device/Mac.
The email address I currently login with to Microsoft is associated with a different Mac and therefore I want to make sure that that will not impede my download associated with the original O H&S installation and the original Mac.
Questions:
Will that matter when I attempt to download (no original email account effects preventing a successful reinstall)?
Will Excel, Word and Ppt docs be lost during the process of reinstallation?
What is the reinstallation process (step by step)?
