How to remove "7-Zip File Manager" from start menu

Question

I had this "7-Zip File Manager" and "7-Zip Help" icon on top of my start menu. It looks like 2 installer but when I click it does nothing.

Also there is an "Other" folder at the bottom of my start menu, which contain another "7-Zip File Manager" inside.

How do I get rid off both the icon and the folder?

Does right-clicking and choosing Unpinning from Start not work?

Are you still planning on using the app?

If yes, try to uninstall and reinstall 7Zip.

In Windows 11 these are just Start menu entries (shortcuts). Remove them from Start like any other pinned or listed app.

1. Open Start and locate each "7-Zip File Manager" / "7-Zip Help" entry (both in the main list and inside the "Other → 7‑Zip" folder).
2. Right‑click the entry and select Unpin from Start to remove it from the pinned area.
3. If it still appears in the All apps list, right‑click it there and choose Unpin from Start again (if available). This removes the pinned shortcut but keeps the program installed.

If the entries are only in the All apps list and not pinned, they are part of the installed app list and cannot be hidden individually through built‑in options; uninstalling 7‑Zip would be required to remove them entirely from All apps.

For general Start menu customization (rearranging, grouping, and pinning/unpinning apps), use:

• Open Start → right‑click items → Pin to Start / Unpin from Start.
• Or go to Settings → Personalization → Start to adjust layout and behavior.
