Just installed Office 365 can never successfully log on

Any time I try to use an office product, I have to login in again, it says its successfully logged in, but does not meet criteria. Please help

Are you using a personal (your own Microsoft account) or a work/business account (provided by your employer)?

According to the error message, it seems like you're using a work account, and your PC doesn't meet the requirements set by your company's IT department. Are you using a work computer ?

If that's the case, you need to discuss with them why your computer does not meet the security requirements. Usually, it's related to updates or information security.

It's been years, but I believe this is a legacy "student discounted" version of windows which has been grandfathered. This is a personal computer in which I am the administrator.

If you have a personal Microsoft account, can you try to go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and see if you have Office registered here ?

Is it possible that windows itself is registered under a different account? If so how do I find out?

First, you need to know which account your Office/Microsoft 365 license is linked to. If Office was previously working with the same account, your license is still active.

Can you go to https://account.microsoft.com/services , and check if you can see Office here ?
