How can change my legal name in exam?

Need to change the legal name in exam form. i was unable to give exam today due the expired Adhar card.

You update your Legal name on your Microsoft Learn profile under Settings https://learn.microsoft.com/users/me/settings

If you have an exam booked, you will be shown a message and link to contact Credentials support https://learn.microsoft.com/credentials/support/help#how-to-submit-a-support-request

Legal name changes for Microsoft certification exams cannot be done directly in the exam form. This must be handled by Microsoft Credentials Support or the exam delivery provider.

Follow these steps:

1. Go to Microsoft Credentials Support: https://aka.ms/credentialssupport (from context: “Credentials support | Microsoft Learn”).
2. Sign in with the same Microsoft account used for exam registration.
3. Complete the required profile fields and save.
4. Open the same link again (https://aka.ms/credentialssupport) so that Product Family: Learning and Service: Microsoft Credential are preselected.
5. Submit a support ticket explaining:
   • The exam you attempted (exam code, date, and time).
   • That the exam could not be taken due to ID (Aadhaar) and legal name mismatch/expired ID.
   • The correct legal name exactly as it appears on valid government ID.
6. If the exam was scheduled through Pearson VUE or Certiport, also contact their customer support (Pearson VUE - Customer Service / Chat or Certiport Technical / customer support as applicable) to request correction of the name on the exam profile and assistance with rescheduling.

If the Microsoft account profile name itself is incorrect, update it first using the Microsoft account name change options referenced in the documentation, then contact Credentials Support so that the certification profile and exam records can be aligned with the correct legal name.
