Hello Geeteash Gautam, Could you please let us know the error message you encounter when attempting to sign in to the Azure portal?

If you have any account & billing related questions, you can contact global support based on your region.

Because the locked account cannot be accessed to cancel the subscription directly, the fastest way to stop further Azure pay-as-you-go charges is:

    1. Cancel the payment method with the bank or card issuer that is funding the Azure subscription so future charges are declined. This immediately prevents new payments even if the Azure subscription is still technically active.
    2. In parallel, contact Microsoft Support from an account that can still sign in and open a billing/support request about the locked Azure account and unwanted charges. Use the Azure portal support entry point to request help with subscription cancellation and account access.
    3. Once support verifies ownership, request that the pay-as-you-go subscription on the locked account be canceled. After cancellation, billing stops immediately, and a final bill is generated within the normal billing cycle window.

    After the subscription is canceled:

    • Billing stops immediately, though it can take up to 10 minutes for the portal to show the cancellation.
    • A final invoice is generated at the end of the billing period (up to 72 hours after the period ends for pay-as-you-go).
    • Services are disabled and data is retained for a limited time in case reactivation is needed.

If there are any Microsoft 365 pay-as-you-go services linked to that Azure subscription, canceling or deleting the Azure subscription also stops processing and billing for those services.
