    Hello @Beno Feuz,

    Thank you for your message.

To better understand this behavior, could you please clarify where you are logging in when you see the prompt asking for your old work email address? For example, does this happen when:

    • Signing in to your Windows computer
    • Or when signing in to a specific Microsoft app or service (such as Outlook, Teams, Microsoft 365 portal, or another website)?

Once I know where the login prompt is coming from, I’ll be able to provide more accurate guidance.

    Looking forward to your reply.

Kind regards, Please understand that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

The old [Moderator note: personal info removed] work account cannot be deleted here, but it can be removed from sign-in and from organizations so that it no longer appears when signing in.

    Use these steps:

    1. If the prompt is the “Which account do you want to use?” dialog (Work or school vs Personal) for the same email address:
      • Rename the personal Microsoft account so it no longer uses the same email as the old work account:
        • Go to the Manage how you sign in section of the Microsoft account.
        • Add a new email address (alias) or choose an existing alias.
        • Select Make primary on the alias that should become the main sign-in.
      • After this, the old work account and the personal account will no longer share the same sign-in address, which removes the repeated “which account” prompt.
    2. If the issue is that the old Zurich Airport organization is still associated with the account:
      • Go to https://myaccount.microsoft.com/.
      • Sign in and select the profile initials.
      • Choose View account > Manage organizations.
      • Select the Zurich Airport organization and then Leave organization > Leave > OK.
      • This stops the old business tenant from being used with the account and removes related prompts.
    3. If Zurich Airport created and still owns the work account:
      • Contact the Zurich Airport IT/administrator and ask them to remove the account from their Microsoft 365 organization or remove assigned licenses.

These actions remove the old business context from sign-in prompts; the actual deletion of a work account can only be done by the organization’s administrator.
