My laptop cannot upgrade to Windows 11 because of the processor requirement, my processor is an AMD Ryzen 3 2300U with Radeon vega Mobile Gtx, and when checking the supported processors I found the AMD Ryzen 3 2300U, my question is, will there be a new update to make compatible more processors (like mine) with Windows 11 ?.

    Hello,

Unfortunately, AMD Ryzen 3 2300U processor is not compatible for Windows 11, according to Microsoft.

Please check with official Windows 11 list of supported processors: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-amd-processors

You can drop a feedback to Microsoft about this, using Feedback hub app.

    Regards.

    Hi there,

Only 8th generation processors in intel and their equivalent are supported for Windows 11. This is been specified by the PC manufacturers for improved security and performance. I doubt there will not be any addition to the Processor now, So I would suggest you update the same.

We as a population are more interested in "Why is my processor not good enough for Windows 11"? I have little problem with sticking with Windows 10 except the VPN sorting situation is absurd. Why is one processor good and another not?
