Hi @bovsklo,
Thank you for reaching out. I understand how inconvenient it can be to repeatedly see the “Some recipients don’t have access to links in your message” notice in the new Outlook - especially when you’re only replying or forwarding emails and don’t need Outlook to validate link permissions.
In New Outlook for Windows, this link‑permission warning cannot be disabled on a per‑user basis. It is built into Outlook’s shareable links functionality, and Microsoft does not currently provide a setting to turn it off: Shareable links overview and troubleshooting | Microsoft Learn.
That said, there are a couple of practical ways to minimize how often you see the prompt:
1/ Clear the warning directly in the message
When Outlook highlights a link or shows the permission notice:
- Right‑click the link > File permissions > Manage access
- Choose a broader permission option such as “Recipients of this message” (or “Anyone with the link” if your organization allows it)
Outlook will refresh the access settings and the warning typically disappears.
2/ (Classic Outlook only) Reduce MailTips prompts
If you switch back to Classic Outlook, you can reduce on‑screen warnings by turning off the MailTips bar:
File > Options > Mail > MailTips Options > MailTips bar display > Never display MailTips.
While this does not disable the link‑access feature itself, it can reduce related prompts in the Classic interface. (New Outlook does not currently support this option.): Outlook MailTips Options - Microsoft Support.

Alternatively, as a forum moderator, I hope you understand that I don’t have the ability to modify or escalate product issues directly. However, I strongly recommend submitting your feedback through the Outlook (new) · Community. You've clearly identified a real-world challenge, and your suggestion reflects a deep understanding of user needs - feedback like yours is truly valuable and helps shape the future of Microsoft team.
Once you’ve submitted your feedback, feel free to share the link here. I’d be happy to upvote it to help increase its visibility. Moreover, if you are unable to submit feedback, please inform me at your convenience. In that case, I will gladly assist by submitting it on your behalf to ensure your request is properly captured.
Additionally, as other users have raised similar concerns and may not be aware of where to share their feedback, I hope this response helps clarify the situation and suggests a potential next step. Highlighting this information can make it more visible to others in the community who may be facing the same issue, making it easier for them to find guidance and contribute their feedback as well.
Thank you again for your time and for raising this important usability concern. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Wishing you a smooth rest of your day.
