    Hi,

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue. I'm happy to help.

If your account has been hacked, please use the sign-in helper tool in the link below to guide you to the appropriate solutions. The link provides comprehensive steps to help you recover a hacked account and also gives you the option to chat with Microsoft Support as a last resort:

    https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2196140

Also, please fill out the account recovery form here: https://account.live.com/acsr

Microsoft takes account security seriously, so the recovery process is fully automated to prevent unauthorized access. Please complete the form using a device and location you’ve previously used, and provide an email address you can still access.

Microsoft usually reviews requests within 24 hours. If your request is approved, you will receive instructions to recover your account.

You can submit the form up to two times within a 24-hour period and include any new information you remember each time.

If none of these steps work, I’m sorry to say that if the account has already been taken over and the sign-in details (such as the username or recovery information) have been changed, recovery may no longer be possible and the account could be permanently lost.

Regarding your Minecraft subscription, try contacting Minecraft Support directly and explaining that you have a Minecraft subscription on the hacked account so they can check what options are available for you.

Follow these steps to try to recover the hacked Microsoft account:

    1. Use the hacked/compromised account troubleshooter
      • Go to the official guide for hacked accounts and start the Sign‑in Helper tool: Start.
      • Enter the email address or phone number that was originally on the account.
      • Follow the prompts. The tool will either give self‑help steps or options to contact support.
    2. Try standard account recovery
      • If you can still enter the original email, use the recovery flow: Recover your account.
      • Choose where to receive a security code (alternate email, etc.) if any option is still available.
    3. If normal reset does not work
      • Use the Microsoft account recovery form (ACSR): https://account.live.com/acsr
      • Enter the hacked account’s email and a different working email where Microsoft can contact you.
      • Fill in as many details as possible (old passwords, approximate creation date, contacts, subject lines, etc.). This increases the chance of success.
      • Microsoft will review and respond, usually within 24 hours.
    4. If the hacker fully replaced the security info
      • If the recovery form says the account does not exist or repeatedly fails, and the hacker has changed the email and security info, there is no other supported way to get that Microsoft account back. Support agents cannot bypass security or manually reset it.
    5. About Minecraft on that account
      • If the Microsoft account cannot be recovered, the Minecraft licenses tied to it cannot be moved off that account by Microsoft account support.
      • For Minecraft‑specific help, contact Minecraft Support separately (as suggested in the referenced Q&A) and provide proof of purchase; they may be able to advise on options for your Minecraft profile.
    6. Secure all other devices and accounts
      • Run a full antivirus scan on any PC or phone used with that account.
      • Change passwords on other important accounts (email, banking, social media) in case the same password was reused.

For any future accounts, always add at least one recovery email and a phone number, and enable two‑step verification to prevent this kind of lockout.
