    Hello Mike Ford,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Before we proceed, may I know if you have had the chance to check the other suggestion yet? If you did, may I know how it goes?

The error 2000 as I checked is a beta version issue. And the most efficient way to fix it is the reinstall the simulator. I understand that it might be a pain doing so. So you can try this before proceed,

    • Go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
    • Click the ellipsis symbol next to the game > Advanced settings.
    • Select "Reset"
    • Open the game and try again.

    Hello Mike Ford,

    Try the following:

    1. Sign out and back in: Sign out of your Microsoft account in both the Xbox app and the Microsoft Store, then sign back in. This refreshes credentials and clears sync errors.
    2. Restart your device.
    3. Update Windows OS (Settings --> Windows Update).
    4. Clear Windows Store Cache by Pressing Windows Key + R --> Type wsreset.exe and click OK
    5. Run (Repair Gaming Services) Tool via https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/games-apps/troubleshooting/gaming-services-repair-tool
    6. Lastly, Verify Date/Time is set correctly.

    I hope that helps!

    Regards,
    MUSTAFA SALAH
