OneDrive online Home folder

Question

The online OneDrive Home folder is showing all of the files from the My Files folder. It is only supposed to show the most recent files but everyone of my files is listed in the Home folder regardless of when it was last opened. When I say all of my files I mean hundreds of files.

Any idea why this is happening?

Type the word "year" in the search bar and pick the time interval. I know "year" gives me options, but perhaps a different term, such as "date", "month, or "day," will narrow down the search.

I'm using Microsoft 365 Premium, but I hope it also works for those who don't have it.

Hi, are you viewing OneDrive Home while signed into more than one account in your browser?

Sign out of all accounts, then open an InPrivate or Incognito window and sign in to OneDrive again with only your correct account. In OneDrive web, click Settings, then Options, and check Features or Preview settings. Turn off any preview or experimental experience, then refresh the page. This resets the Home view behavior and removes cached layout issues so Home shows recent and recommended items instead of the full file list.

'Recent' is not a choice on the screen. What filters are you speaking about. I have no way to change the filters.

Your AI is stupid. It shows a complete lack of understanding of my question. I said the Home folder shows a list of all the files from the My Files folder. It is only supposed to show the most recent files I have accessed.

On the OneDrive website, the Home view is designed to surface items such as recent and recommended content, but the navigation pane lets different filters be applied.

In the left pane:

• My files shows all files and folders stored in OneDrive.
• Recent shows Office documents opened most recently.

If the Home view is effectively listing everything, it is likely that the My files scope is being used or that the view is not filtered to Recent items. To see only recent documents, switch to Recent in the left navigation rather than relying on the unfiltered Home/My files listing.

On the OneDrive web experience, this behavior (seeing all files when in My files) is expected and not an error; the Recent filter must be used to limit the list to recently opened documents.
