Not able to sign into my outlook email, signs into one that is not mine but a generic one

I'm not able to sign in to my Outlook email.

The alternative method of calling my phone did not work.

I had this issue months ago. Signing in goes around in circles, it will sign me in to an account that's not my work account.

Please help, my work needs to be tended to asap.

    Hello, are you signing in using a browser or the Outlook app?

    Use a private or incognito window, go to Outlook on the web, select Sign in, then choose Use another account and enter your correct email. If it works, sign out of all accounts, clear browser cookies for Microsoft sites, then sign in again with only your work account.
