Edge on xbox opening new tabs when clicking anything

When im trying to watch anime on sites like hianime etc. on xbox series s. whenever i try to do something there sometimes there is just so hentai stuff opening in a new tab

Those new tabs are pop‑up ads and redirects from the streaming sites, not from Xbox itself. On Edge, pop‑ups and some redirects can be blocked, but ads that are built into the page layout cannot be fully blocked.

To reduce or stop these tabs opening:

1. Turn on Edge’s pop‑up blocker
   1. Open Microsoft Edge on Xbox.
   2. Open Settings and more (the … menu).
   3. Go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services.
   4. Select Site permissions > All permissions.
   5. Select Pop-ups and redirects and make sure Blocked (recommended) is turned on.
2. Block third‑party cookies (helps with some ad/redirect behavior)
   1. In Settings, go to Cookies and site permissions.
   2. Open Manage and delete cookies and site data.
   3. Turn on Block third-party cookies.
3. Clear Edge browsing data Some pop‑up behavior is stored in cookies or site data.
