Suddenly i'm not able to see my inbox emails on Outlook Web. I can see emails within my folders, but not the inbox for some reason. They show briefly as the page is loading, but then vanishUser's image

They show in incognito mode. I've deleted site data and browsing data, but that hasn't resolved it.

Any suggestions?

    Hello

What browser do you use? So, in incognito mode, the emails show up correctly in the Inbox folder, right?

If you use Edge, please make sure you use this instruction to clear cache: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/view-and-delete-browser-history-in-microsoft-edge-00cf7943-a9e1-975a-a33d-ac10ce454ca4

Also try to turn off all browser extension, and see if it makes difference.

In addition, try another browser, is it the same?

Because messages appear briefly and are visible in incognito, the mailbox itself is fine; the issue is almost certainly a client‑side view, filter, rule, or add‑on problem in the normal browser session.

Try these steps in Outlook on the web (not incognito):

    1. Clear any filters on the Inbox view
      • At the top of the message list, select Filter.
      • Change it to All (and also choose All for time range if shown).
      • This ensures messages aren’t hidden by a filter such as “Unread” or a date filter.
    2. Check Junk, Archive, and other folders
      • Open Junk Email and Archive to confirm messages weren’t moved there.
      • If messages are there, move one back to Inbox and see if it appears after clearing filters.
    3. Check rules and sweep rules
      • Go to Outlook.com Rules settings and review all Inbox and Sweep rules.
      • Disable or delete any rule that moves or deletes new messages from Inbox.
    4. Check for browser add‑ons (especially in Firefox)
      • Certain add‑ons can prevent the inbox from loading correctly.
      • Temporarily disable all add‑ons, then reload Outlook on the web and test.
    5. Review Junk handling and sign‑in activity
      • Make sure messages aren’t being incorrectly classified as junk by another mail app; if so, mark them Not junk so they return to Inbox.
      • If there is any suspicion of account compromise, review the Recent activity page and secure the account as needed.

If messages display correctly after filters are cleared and problematic rules/add‑ons are removed, the Inbox view will remain populated in normal (non‑incognito) browsing sessions.
