I am extremely frustrated and cannot reach customer support. I was double-billed; see below. Can you please refund one of the charges? The website is poorly designed and hard to use, and the 800 number isn't helpful either. I would appreciate a call back

Thanks

This forum is just a user to user forum, no-one here has any account access, using any Microsoft account you may have, try using the steps they provide on this link to find out what that second payment was for.

Then use the steps they provide on this link to cancel whatever that second payment was for and get a refund.

If you are still unable to resolve that second payment problem, you will need to contact Microsoft Support directly, try using this method to contact their support.

    Go to this link: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus

    Select Microsoft 365

    Click 'Get Home Support'.

In the box provided, type billing.

Press Enter, then on the next page, scroll down and click 'Sign in to Contact Support'.

Navigate to Microsoft 365 and Office - Manage my Subscription.

Select the 'Chat with support agent in web browser' option

Refunds and billing adjustments cannot be processed from this forum; they must be handled directly by Microsoft Support, where account and payment details can be securely accessed.

To resolve the double billing and request a refund for one of the Microsoft 365 charges:

    1. Go to the Microsoft Support contact page: use the Get help or Contact – Microsoft Support entry point shown in the articles below.
    2. Sign in with the Microsoft account that is being billed.
    3. Choose the product category such as Microsoft 365 & Office or Microsoft Store and then select a billing-related topic like Billing and Payment updates or Manage my subscription.
    4. When prompted, select Contact support and then choose Chat with a support agent in your web browser or request a call back by providing a phone number and preferred time.
    5. Provide the support agent with:
      • The dates and amounts of both charges
      • The payment method(s) used
      • Any invoice IDs or transaction IDs shown on the receipts
      • A clear statement that this is a duplicate charge for the same subscription and that a refund is requested for one of them.

If the charges are related to a Microsoft Store order (for example, a subscription purchased through the Store) and appear as duplicate charges for the same order, contact Microsoft Store Support directly using the Help with Microsoft Store purchases page and have the account and order number ready.

If the bank has flagged any transaction as potentially fraudulent or if there is concern that someone else may be using the account, also review the guidance on compromised accounts and account security in the referenced articles.
