DocuSign/Adobe Sign Action in Power Automate

Hello, I am new to the power platform and would appreciate some clarity with something I'm trying to solve.

I am trying to streamline a current business process that would benefit from using an e-sign service like DocuSign or Adobe. Here's a general summary of what I am trying to accomplish:

A Power Automate flow with a DocuSign/Adobe action is triggered by a user in a canvas app. The esign action is connected to a single user account/service account.

My question is — does the user triggering the flow need to have a license with that esign service in order to compliantly run the flow or is the connection with the service account enough? I am having trouble finding an answer to this. I appreciate any insight.

    Dear @Matthew d'Augereau,

I understand how important it is to ensure that licensing and compliance considerations are handled correctly, especially when integrating third‑party e‑signature services such as DocuSign or Adobe Sign with Power Automate.

Because licensing requirements can vary based on multiple factors such as the type of Power Automate trigger, the connector used, the authentication model (service account vs. individual user), and the specific agreement you have with the e‑signature provider, the most accurate and compliant guidance would need to come directly from the Microsoft Power Platform support team.

To ensure that you get professional help and avoid incorrect information from our side, I suggest you post on the Microsoft Power Automate Community for expert assistance. This is a specific channel related to Power Automate Microsoft Power Platform Community Forum Thread, you'll get the most qualified group of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can share their knowledge or learn from your interaction.
