    Hi Zahid,

To create a shared folder in OneDrive that others can access, start by signing in to your OneDrive account and creating a new folder where you can upload the files you want to share. Once the folder is ready, right‑click it or select it and choose the Share option. In the sharing settings, generate a link by selecting Copy link. Before copying, adjust the permissions so that anyone with the link can either view or edit the folder, depending on what level of access you want to grant. After copying the link, you can send it to others via email, chat, or any platform you prefer, and they will be able to access the folder directly through that link. If you want tighter control, you can restrict access to specific people instead of allowing anyone with the link. This way, you maintain flexibility while ensuring your files are accessible to the right audience.

Use OneDrive to create a folder, upload files, and then share that folder with others.

    1. Go to the OneDrive website and sign in with the work or school account.
    2. To create a folder:
      • Select + New > Folder.
      • Name the folder and create it.
    3. Upload files into that folder:
      • Open the folder.
      • Select Upload and choose Files or Folder, then pick what to upload and select Open or Upload.
    4. Share the folder so others can access the files:
      • In OneDrive, select the folder to share.
      • Select Share at the top of the page.
      • Option A – Share with a link:
        • Select Copy link to generate a sharing link.
        • Paste this link into email, Teams, or any other place to send it to others.
      • Option B – Share with specific people:
        • In the Share dialog, type the names or email addresses of the people or groups.
        • Optionally type a message.
        • Select Send so they receive an email with a link to the folder.
    5. (Optional) Adjust link permissions and scope:
      • In the Share dialog, after choosing Copy link, select the settings icon next to Copy link.
      • Choose who the link works for (for example, people in the organization or specific people), choose whether they can view or edit, and optionally set an expiration date for the link.

After this, any files uploaded into that shared folder will be accessible to the people the folder was shared with, according to the permissions set.
