Account recovery issue with verification code

I am trying to retrieve my old Live/Xbox account. I correctly entered the password to the account, but I had to choose another form of verification because the authenticator app on my phone is no longer accessible due to me no longer having the phone or number. I also don't have access to my comcast email that was used for recovery purposes. Long story short I was incarcerated for approximately five years. When I selected the option to verify via a different way, it suggested that I create a new outlook account to send the code to. What I didn't realize at the time was that someone else was signed into their account and when I selected the option to send me the code it sent it to the account that is not mine. I tried to re-log in so I can have it resend the code to the correct email, but it tells me that the password is incorrect. I assume that the system is waiting for me to enter the code and that is why I can get resent a code. Is there someone from Microsoft I can talk to, so I can get a code sent to my new recovery email? If I didn't have an Xbox tied to the account I would cut my losses, but I don't want to lose games, save games, etc. to inactivity. I don't have a new number yet to use for verification as I am currently trying to get a new phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

    Microsoft Account Security is an automated process. There is no direct phone number for account recovery. Microsoft Support Agents can not unlock an account or reset your password. All routes lead back to the automated process or chat support to help you complete the automated process.

    You must have a working Microsoft email account to use Chat or any other Support Services. If you can not logon with your current account, create a new, temporary one at https://signup.live.com

    (Once you are in Chat you can tell them the actual account with the problem).

    Chat Support

    • Open a browser to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/home/contact
    • Tell us your problem: "Need Verification code sent to recovery email"
    • [Get Help] {Scroll down to the bottom of the page} [Sign in to Contact Support]
    • Sign in with any Microsoft account
    • Products and services: "Other Products"
    • Category: "Manage Account Security"
    • [Confirm]
    • Choose a support option -> "Chat with a support agent in your web browser"

    {But they will almost always tell you to use the Account Recovery Form}
