Hi all.
Upon discovering that my Microsoft account still shows a Surface Pro 3 that I no longer own, I chose to delete the device from my account. Seemed prudent.
"Device Removed"
Nice. Done...
And then it came back, as soon as the page was refreshed.
So I deleted it again.
And it came back again.
Ok, maybe it will take the customary 24-hours or so to actually appear to be deleted.
Except, not so much.
I've deleted this device, usually several times per day, for the last couple of weeks - fully expecting the problem to self-resolve. It did not.
It has become my daily chuckle, so thanks for that.
As entertaining as this has been, are there any tips for actually deleting the device? Sooper Sekrit web-site address? Magic decoder ring settings?
Perhaps my assumption that 24-hours would be required, to show the update, should be adjusted up a bit - 24 days?
Open to solution suggestions.
Thank you.

Update: Just received the automated response, letting me know the reason(s) I cannot delete the device:
It is linked to a Microsoft Store account. Checked. It is not.
It is added as an Android/iOs device. Checked. It is not.
It is a work/school-managed device. It has never been. Checked the link(s) anyway. It is not.
Returning to the device management page, it again invites me to "complete registration of my Surface Pro 3" and offers to allow me to delete the device from my account.
Sigh.
