C# Why one production migrate from .net framework to .net core

I have winform based product which always run on windows pc. we never use azure or any cloud technology.
please guide me should we move from .net framework to .net core ? any facility we will enjoy if we move from .net framework to .net core ?

in terms of performance any kind of difference will be there if i migrate code from .net framework to .net core ?

in what are the area microsoft enhance the performance in .net core ?

i often use List<T> & datatable. any same kind of data structure exist there which will be more performant compare with List<T> & datatable in .net core ?

please guide me & answer elaborately. thanks

Compared with .Net Framework, the biggest advantage of .Net Core is cross-platform, but for your current programs that only run-on Windows systems, this advantage is completely invisible.
.Net Core will have some advantages in performance, but the time and labor costs required to convert applications from .Net Framework to .Net Core are also not negligible.
You need to consider whether it is worth it.

How easily & quickly migrate a application from .net framework 4.5.2 to .net core 5. any quick way out exist?
