Correlation ID: 019d2fd3-51cd-7123-86c7-d38988481559 Error: AADSTS5000228 — access to tenant 7ac4df4e-a945-450a-935e-6e2b987b7c01 denied Timestamp: 2026-03-27 15:05:14Z

Hello Microsoft

I am trying to register as a Partner

I have created a tenant ******@axltecptyltd.onmicrosoft.com for my company, AXLTEC

I get this error when I try to log in and get or create my MPN ID: "CorrelationID: 43b57541-c82c-4874-94c3-d870ca906712

Correlation Vector: LRlAx9TkSEWfRSDu.0

Date: 26 Mar 2026 14:16:06 +00:00"

Please help me, anyone

I tried to register before but did not complete the registration (I couldn't add a debit card), and I used the tenant: ******@axltec.onmicrosoft.com

Can someone help me register to be a Partner?

The error AADSTS5000228 indicates that access to the specified Microsoft Entra tenant is being denied for the account being used. In the Partner registration context, this typically happens when:

    • The wrong tenant is being targeted (for example, a previous/abandoned tenant instead of the new one), or
    • The account being used doesn’t have the required permissions in that tenant.

To move forward with Partner registration using the correct tenant and account, follow these steps:

    1. Sign out and clear cached sign-ins
      • Sign out of all Microsoft accounts in the browser.
      • Close all browser windows.
      • Clear site data/cookies for Microsoft/Partner Center sign-in pages.
      • Reopen the browser and try again.
This is similar to the resolution where access issues were fixed by signing out of all Microsoft accounts and clearing all site data before signing in again.
    2. Ensure the correct tenant is used
      • When prompted to sign in to Partner Center, use the admin account from the tenant that should own the Partner registration (for example, the intended axltecptyltd.onmicrosoft.com tenant).
      • If the browser is silently redirecting to another tenant (such as the earlier axltec.onmicrosoft.com), repeat step 1 and explicitly choose the correct work account at sign-in.
    3. Verify permissions in Microsoft Entra ID In the target tenant that will be used for Partner registration:
      • Ensure the account is a Global Administrator or has sufficient admin rights for Partner registration.
      • If app creation or registration is part of the flow and a permission error appears, verify in Microsoft Entra ID that:
        • Users can register applications is enabled under User settings.
        • The account has Application developer or appropriate admin permissions if required.
    4. If the tenant or registration is already associated
      • If a previous attempt partially associated a support contract or registration, the system may show that an ID or contract is already linked.
      • In such cases, do not try to re-link the same contract; instead, proceed directly to creating a new support request or continuing registration if the portal allows it.
      • If an old/expired contract or association is blocking progress, a new support plan or updated association may be required.
    5. Contact Microsoft Partner/Support with correlation details
      • Because the error includes specific Correlation IDs and a tenant ID, provide these details directly to Microsoft Partner Center or Microsoft 365/Entra support so they can check backend logs and tenant configuration.
      • If the previous tenant (axltec.onmicrosoft.com) has a partially completed Partner registration that is blocking the new tenant, support can help either complete or clean up that registration so the correct tenant can be used.

If, after clearing sign-ins and ensuring the correct tenant and admin account are used, the same AADSTS5000228 error persists, direct escalation to Microsoft support with the correlation IDs and timestamps is required so they can adjust tenant access or resolve any stuck registration state.
