    Hello CK Owens,

I understand that you are having issue with Canceling Microsoft 365 Personal Subscription. I truly understand how you feel. Let me assist you go through this situation.

You’re in the right place conceptually — both “Microsoft 365 Personal” and “Microsoft 365 Premium” are managed from the same Microsoft account “Services & subscriptions” page. If clicking Manage on Personal keeps dumping you into Premium, it usually means you’re signed into the wrong Microsoft account for the Personal subscription or the Personal subscription was bought through a third‑party billing partner (Apple/Google/retailer). Where to go (exact pages):

    1. Main page that shows all subscriptions on the account you’re signed into: Services & subscriptions
    2. Direct Microsoft 365 subscriptions page (often lands you right on the 365 section): Microsoft 365 subscriptions

Try this step-by-step (so you can find BOTH and cancel the right one):

    1. Open an InPrivate/Incognito browser window (prevents account “mix-ups” and cached sign-ins).
    2. Go to Services & subscriptions and sign in.
    3. On that page, you should see a list of subscriptions for the account you’re currently signed into. Find:
      • Microsoft 365 Premium (keep)
      • Microsoft 365 Personal (cancel)
    4. Click Manage next to Microsoft 365 Personal > then choose Cancel (or Upgrade or Cancel, depending on what you see).
    5. Important: If you do not see “Cancel” and instead see “Turn on recurring billing”, that means it’s already set to expire and you won’t be charged again — nothing else to do.

I hope this will help with your situation. Please feel free to reach back if you have further update or more questions.

    Best Regards,

Cancel Microsoft 365 Personal directly from the Services & subscriptions page, making sure the correct subscription is selected before choosing Manage.

    1. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with the same Microsoft account that owns the subscriptions.
    2. Under Services & subscriptions, locate Microsoft 365 Personal and Microsoft 365 Premium separately.
      • If selecting Manage on Personal keeps opening Premium, verify which product name is actually shown on the page that opens. It may be that Premium is the only active/recurring subscription on that account.
    3. For the Microsoft 365 Personal entry:
      • If there is a Manage link, select it, then choose Cancel or Cancel subscription (it may appear as Upgrade or Cancel), and follow the prompts to confirm.
      • If there is no Cancel option but you see Turn on recurring billing, Personal is already set to expire on the date shown and will not be charged again; no further action is required for that subscription.
    4. If there is overdue payment on any subscription, cancellation may be blocked until the balance is cleared. In that case, update payment or pay the outstanding amount, then try cancellation again.
    5. If none of the above works (for example, Manage on Personal always routes to Premium and no separate controls appear), use the guided support tool for subscription issues: go to Contact Microsoft Support from the refund/cancellation article and select Get HelpContact Support so an agent can correct the subscription mapping on the account.

Be aware that cancelling a Microsoft 365 Basic, Personal, Family, or Premium subscription reduces storage to 5 GB of cloud storage (OneDrive and Outlook.com attachments) and 15 GB of Outlook.com storage. If usage is above the free allowance, new OneDrive uploads/edits and Outlook.com email send/receive will be blocked, and OneDrive content may later be deleted according to the timelines in the policy.
