When I forward an email from a site it comes back as undeliverable-getting a message that says it contains spam-this started yesterday for some reason

    Hi Steve Brown,

Thanks for sharing the details received. At the moment, it’s not clear which specific NDR code this corresponds to, so it’s difficult to identify it with certainty.

For reference only, here’s an example list of common NDR codes that may be useful to review: Fix NDR error "550 5.1.0" in Exchange Online

If the code encountered matches one of those listed, the guidance there can be used for self‑troubleshooting. Please note that the link is provided for reference purposes only, as the exact code hasn’t been fully confirmed yet.

Thank you for your time and understanding.

    Hi Steve Brown,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

To narrow down the root cause, please provide two quick details below:

    • Open the “Undeliverable/Non‑delivery report (NDR)” message, scroll to “Diagnostic information for administrators”, and copy the single line that contains the error code. Please send it via private message.
    • Are you sending/forwarding from Outlook on the web (outlook.com) or the Outlook app (Windows/Mac/mobile)?

Once you provide the two details above, I’ll review them and follow up with the appropriate next steps.

Note: Please follow the steps in our documentation to enable e-mail notifications if you want to receive the related email notification for this thread.
