How do I get my home screen back to the normal size? Everything is super large.

After changing the Scale in Display Settings, please restart the machine to confirm whether it is fixed.

If in case you are not getting the desired screen size, change the screen resolution, set it to Recommended.

If everything on the screen is suddenly very large, adjust the Windows display scale back to a normal value.

For Windows 11:

1. Select Start > Settings > System > Display.
2. Under Scale, open the drop-down menu and choose a smaller percentage (commonly 100% or 125%).

Alternatively, via Accessibility:

1. Select Start > Settings > Accessibility > Text size to reduce only text, or
2. Go to Settings > System > Display and change Scale to a lower value to shrink apps, images, and text together.

For Windows 10:

1. Select Start > Settings > Ease of Access > Display.
2. Under Make everything bigger, choose a smaller option from the drop-down.

If only text is too large (but icons and windows look normal):

• In Windows 11: Start > Settings > Accessibility > Text size, then move the slider to a smaller value.
• In Windows 10: Start > Settings > Ease of Access > Display, then reduce the Make text bigger slider.
