    Hi @Mike Lancione,

Thank you for contacting regarding your Microsoft 365 subscription.

Based on your sharing, for business environments, a product key is a one-time-use credential used solely to associate the subscription with your Microsoft 365 tenant. Once this initial setup is complete, the key is no longer required for installation or activation; these processes are handled entirely through account sign-in.

If you receive a not found message at the setup URL, it typically indicates one of the following scenarios:

    • Previous Redemption: The key has already been successfully linked to an account.
    • Partial Setup: The setup process was interrupted but the key was already registered.
    • Regional or Version Mismatch: The key is incompatible with the specific setup page being accessed.
    • Reseller Activation: The key has not yet been unlocked or activated by the point of sale.

Kindly follow the recommended next steps below:

    • Please sign in to microsoft365.com using the work or school account used during the initial setup. If the subscription was successfully created, you can download and activate the apps directly from your dashboard without the product key.

    If the issue persists:

    • For end users: Please contact your organization’s Global Administrator, as end users do not have permission to verify business subscriptions or product key status.
    • For administrators: Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center, go to Billing > Your products, and confirm whether the subscription is active. If the subscription exists, ensure a license has been correctly assigned to the affected user.

Additionally, I recommend contacting Microsoft Support or your authorized reseller. Admin can open a support ticket directly within the Admin Center under Support > Help & support for a backend verification of the tenant and key status. For detailed instructions on how to get support, please refer to Get support - Microsoft 365 admin.

I hope this clarifies the business activation process. Please let me know if you require further assistance.
