Tag not monitored by Microsoft.
The error cannot be fixed in the profile directly because the legal name change now requires manual review by the Microsoft Credentials Support team.
To resolve this and be able to schedule the exam:
- Go to the online support request page: Credentials Support.
- Ensure the following options are selected:
- Product family: Learning
- Product or Service: Microsoft Credentials
- Types of Support: Professional No Charge
- Enter location and time zone and choose Email as the contact method.
- In the description of the issue, include:
- Learn username (from Learn profile settings).
- The exact legal name as it appears on the ID that will be used on exam day (for example, the Aadhaar or PAN card that should be matched).
- Screenshots of:
- The error message in Microsoft Learn that says to contact Credential Support.
- The Pearson VUE page showing the name.
- Submit the case and wait for the Credentials Support team to reply by email. They will update the legal name in the certification profile so that it matches the government ID and Pearson VUE, after which exam registration can proceed.
If there are any exam-day or scheduling issues after the name is corrected, Pearson VUE Support should be contacted for appointment assistance.
