Languages for meeting

Hi,

I have noticed almost all languages are covered as Interpreter, I think Hindi as Indian language to be considered to be included in teams as Interpreter.

Thank you for sharing this suggestion. I can absolutely understand why this matters, especially since Hindi is a native language for so many people and having it included in Microsoft Teams’ Interpreter feature would make meetings more accessible and inclusive.

At the moment, the available interpreter languages in Teams are based on Microsoft’s current supported list, so some important languages may not yet be included. You can refer to Microsoft’s official article here for more information: Language interpretation in Microsoft Teams meetings

Interpreter in Microsoft Teams meetings currently supports these languages only: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Simplified Chinese (Mandarin), Italian, German, French, and Korean.

Hindi is not listed as a supported Interpreter output language at this time. Some additional spoken languages may be recognized, but interpretation output is limited to the supported set above and accuracy for non-listed spoken languages is not guaranteed.

To request Hindi as an Interpreter language, the appropriate path is to submit product feedback through the Teams feedback channels so it can be considered for future updates.
