I have a LENOVO aura edition laptop and recently the keyboard has been acting up. When I type normally, it ignores key presses. It decreases when I type really slow but still skips letters. Same with long presses when trying to delete things or change volume.

I will type this sentence first slow then normally: (no corrections)

he quik brown fox jumps over the lazy dog

e quik bro fx jup vere lazy og

I have checked setting and sensitivity is normal, filterkeys is of etc.

This is hindering my work, please help.

    1

Open Command Prompt, then paste in this command and press Enter:

    msdt.exe -id KeyboardDiagnostic

Run that Keyboard Troubleshooter to see if that can solve the problem.

    2

If that does not resolve this for you

    Open Device Manager

    Expand the Keyboards section

Right click your keyboard and choose 'Uninstall'

    Then restart your PC

    3

If the problem is still not resolved:

Bring up the on-screen keyboard, are those keys working correctly on that keyboard?

Connect another external keyboard to your system, are those keys working correctly on that keyboard?
