    Hello,

This is a public forum, so for your privacy and security, we can’t help with billing issues here. Also, no one in this forum has access to your account or payment information.

To get help, open the "Get Help" app on your computer (just search for it in the Start menu). or go to https://support.microsoft.com/contactus, Type "Billing" and press Enter. On the next screen, click "Contact support" at the bottom of the page, then choose "Microsoft 365" > "Manage my subscription". You’ll then see the option to chat with a Microsoft support agent who has access to your account to help review the issue.

To update payment details and successfully pay, follow these steps based on the type of account.

For a personal Microsoft account (Microsoft 365 Personal/Family, Xbox, Microsoft Store)

    1. Go to Payment options: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments and sign in with the Microsoft account used for the subscription.
    2. Find the payment method that needs updating and select View or edit card.
    3. Update the name, billing address, expiration date, or CVV as needed.
    4. Select Save.
    5. Then go to Services & subscriptions: https://account.microsoft.com/services, find the past‑due subscription, and select Pay now.
    6. If needed, update the payment method again or add a new one, then select Next to complete the payment.

    If payment still fails:

    • Confirm the card details (number, expiry, name, address, ZIP/postcode) exactly match the bank statement.
    • Confirm there are sufficient funds.
    • If the card continues to be declined, contact the bank, as the card may be inactive, blocked, or have other restrictions.

    For a Microsoft 365 business/organization subscription

    1. In the Microsoft 365 admin center, go to Bills & payments > Payment methods.
    2. For the payment method to change, select the More actions (three dots) menu and choose Edit.
    3. Update the name on the card, billing address, or expiration date. The card number itself cannot be changed.
    4. Enter the security code when prompted, then select Save.
    5. If the account number has changed, add a new payment method and move subscriptions to it, then delete the old method.

If the portal will not let the payment method be saved or “Pay now” still fails after these steps, contact the bank to check for:

    • Denied or blocked transactions
    • International or online transactions disabled
    • Recurring payments blocked

If the problem persists after confirming with the bank, contact Microsoft support from the admin center or support site so the billing team can review the payment failure.
