Roblox access on a school-managed Chromebook or Windows device is controlled by the school’s IT/admin, often using tools like web filters or app blocking. There is no supported way to bypass those controls, and Microsoft cannot provide any method to avoid being blocked.

If Roblox or other games are blocked, only the school or organization that manages the device/network can change that. The appropriate approach is to speak with a teacher or school IT staff and ask whether game access is allowed and if they can enable it under their policies.

    Hi Clipp, Elijah,

I understand why you’d want an easy way to play Roblox on your school Chromebook. However, because this is a school-managed device, your school or district controls what apps and websites are allowed through their own admin policies (including downloads and site blocking). In that situation, there isn’t a way to guarantee Roblox will work without installing anything or to avoid school blocking.

Also, Roblox on Chrome OS typically requires the Google Play Store to be enabled on the device (which schools often disable), and any access restrictions are ultimately set by your school’s IT administrators.

Please contact your school IT department / administrator and ask whether Roblox is permitted, and if they can enable/allow it under your school’s policies (for example, enabling Play Store access or approving Roblox).

Thanks for your understanding, your school IT team will be the only group able to change those rules on a managed Chromebook.
