Azure Artifact Signing - Identity validation stuck in "In Progress" for more than 7 days

Hello,

My Azure Artifact Signing (Code Signing) identity validation has been in "In Progress" status for more than 7 days.

All required documents have already been submitted.

This is blocking our ability to proceed with code signing.

Could you please verify if there is any pending action or if the validation is still under review?

Details:

Tenant: MAP BRASIL LTDA (ailicita.onmicrosoft.com)

Organization: MAP BRASIL LTDA

Country: Brazil

Status: In Progress

Thank you.

URGENT - Just to follow up:

This issue is still ongoing and blocking our production deployment.

Could someone from the Azure Artifact Signing team please review this case?

    Thank you.

    Additional info:

All documents were submitted between March 13 and March 18, 2026.

No rejection or additional request was received since then.

This validation is currently blocking production usage.

Could you please help escalate or check internally?

    Thank you.

Identity validation for Azure Artifact Signing can only be completed and tracked through the Azure portal. If the status remains In Progress for more than 7 days, and all required documents have already been submitted, the next step is to contact support rather than creating additional identity validation requests.

Creating more identity validation requests for the same organization while one is already in progress does not speed up processing and is not recommended.

    To move forward:

    1. Verify in the Azure portal that the identity validation request is still in In Progress status and that no email verification link was missed (the email link expires after 7 days).
    2. If everything appears correct and it is still blocked, open a ticket with Azure Support or post on Microsoft Q&A using the artifact-signing tag to have the Artifact Signing team review the request and confirm whether any additional action is required or if the validation is still under review.

If the current request ultimately fails and cannot be validated (for example, after all attempts to provide documentation are exhausted), Artifact Signing onboarding cannot proceed for that identity and the Artifact Signing account should be deleted to avoid charges for unused resources.
