Can't save numbers and words in excel.

When a number and word is put in a specific cell on a excel worksheet it not saving it. When you try to save it the word goes away and the number move to the far right of the cell with sometimes part of the number missing.

    It happens when the cell is formatted as Number, so Excel removes text and aligns the value to the right.

    Try to select the affected cells, go to Home, then Number Format, and choose Text before entering your data.
