Hi Arya Bement,
I understand why this is confusing, especially if you intended to use the content on your PC. However, the DLC you redeemed is associated with the Xbox console version of Dead by Daylight, not the Windows PC version.
Once the gift code is redeemed, the entitlement is locked to the specific platform version of the game that the code was issued for. There isn’t a way to convert or transfer a redeemed Xbox console DLC to the PC version, even with Microsoft Support. What you can do at this point is:
- Get an Xbox console and use the DLC while signed in with the same Microsoft account.
- If you purchased it from a third-party retailer, you may check whether they can refund (though unlikely).
I know this is not the answer you want to hear, but I think it's better to be direct. For future purchases, always confirm that the DLC explicitly lists PC / Windows support before redeeming, as console and PC versions are licensed separately.
