Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

When you buy a Windows Pro upgrade, it usually doesn’t give a separate download. It upgrades your existing Windows 11 Home using a product key or digital license.

    Please check this:

    • Go to Settings > System > Activation
    • Do you see Windows 11 Pro already activated?

    If not, try this:

    • In Activation, click Change product key
    • Enter the key from your order (check your email or Microsoft account order details)

If issue still persists, to help narrow down the issue:

    1. Are you currently on Windows 11 Home?
    2. Do you see a product key in your order details or email?
    3. What exactly shows under Activation right now?

Share what you see there. I’ll guide you step by step.

The Windows Pro upgrade is delivered as a digital download tied to the Microsoft account and order history, not as a separate visible product key or installer file in many cases.

Use these steps to get to the download/install:

    1. Go to the Microsoft account order history page: account.microsoft.com/billing/orders and sign in with the same Microsoft account used to buy the Windows Pro upgrade.
    2. In the list of orders, find the Windows Pro upgrade purchase.
    3. Select Product key/Install next to that order. This is where the download/installation entry appears for software purchased directly from Microsoft.

If Product key/Install is not visible for that order, try the following from the documented troubleshooting steps:

    1. If only Install is shown, select Install to start the download and installation. Some products do not show a separate product key.
    2. If Install is not shown, select the product name itself. This opens the product page. If the button that previously said Buy now shows Install, select it to automatically download and install.
    3. If the purchase was for boxed software that was shipped, the product key is not stored in Order history until the first installation. In that case, follow the instructions that came with the box.
    4. Some products never store their product key in Order history. If the key was printed on a card or box, that physical key must be used.
    5. If nothing appears as expected, reset the Microsoft Store app on the PC:
      • Press Windows logo key + R to open Run.
      • Type wsreset.exe and select OK.
      • A blank command window opens and closes after about 10 seconds, then Microsoft Store opens automatically. After that, check the order again and/or the My Library section in Microsoft Store.

Additionally, for any Microsoft software purchased digitally (including Windows and other products), the general pattern is:

    1. Sign in to Order history with the purchasing account.
    2. Locate the software purchase.
    3. Use Product key/Install to access download and installation.

If the order shows as Completed in order history but there is still no Product key/Install or Install option after these steps, support assistance is required, but that process is not detailed in the provided context.
