A Microsoft app for iOS and Android devices that enables authentication with two-factor verification, phone sign-in, and code generation
WorkJam itself is not covered in the context, but the steps to correctly set up Microsoft Authenticator for a work account (which WorkJam may rely on for sign‑in) are:
- On a computer, open a browser and sign in to the Security info page for the Woolworths work account at:
- In Security info, select Add sign-in method.
- Choose Microsoft Authenticator from the dropdown and select Add.
- If Microsoft Authenticator is already installed on the phone, select Next to display the QR code on the computer.
- On the phone, open the Microsoft Authenticator app, tap the + icon, then choose Work or school account.
- Tap Scan a QR Code and scan the QR code shown on the computer.
- If the camera cannot be used, on the computer select Can't scan the image, and on the phone choose Enter code manually and follow the instructions.
- After the account appears in Authenticator, try signing in to WorkJam again with the Woolworths work account; approve the prompt or enter the code from Authenticator when requested.
If the Woolworths IT team requires phone sign‑in or specific MFA settings, the tenant admin may need to enable phone sign‑in and/or reset MFA methods for the account. In that case, contact the Woolworths IT/service desk and ask them to reset or re-register MFA for the work account so it can be re‑added to Microsoft Authenticator using the steps above.
