    Hi @Mikael Klimscha

Regarding your want to add Exchange Online Plan 2 to your account, I’d like to better understand your situation so I can assist you more effectively. Could you please help clarify the following:

    • What type of subscription have you purchased?  You can check this yourself by signing in here: My account      User's image
    • Have you been able to sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center?

If you are unable to sign in or encounter any issues, please share a screenshot showing where you are getting stuck.

Please note that as a forum moderator, I do not have the ability to add, remove, or modify licenses on your tenant. License management actions can only be performed by a Global Administrator or Billing Administrator of your Microsoft 365 tenant.

If you are able to sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, please follow the steps below:

    1. Go to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center
    2. Navigate to Users > Active users
    3. Select the account to which you would like to add the license User's image
    4. Go to Licenses and apps  User's image
    5. Scroll down and check whether Exchange Online Plan 2 is available and assigned to the account  User's image

If I’ve misunderstood any part of your request, please feel free to correct me. I want to make sure I have a complete understanding of your situation so I can provide the best possible support.

Thank you for your time and understanding. While this response may not resolve the issue immediately, any additional details you provide will help me assist you more effectively. I truly appreciate your patience and am here to help. I look forward to your response.

To add Exchange Online Plan 2 to a Microsoft 365 business subscription, use the Microsoft 365 admin center and either change the existing plan or add a new subscription, depending on what is available for the current billing account type.

    1. Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center with an account that has admin permissions.
    2. In Simplified view, select Subscriptions; in Dashboard view, go to Billing > Your products.
    3. Select the current subscription that should include Exchange Online Plan 2.
    4. If using an MCA billing account type:
      • On the subscription details page, in Other subscription options, select Change to a different subscription option.
      • Choose the new plan that includes Exchange Online Plan 2, set license quantity, subscription length, and billing frequency, then select Change plan.
    5. If using an MOSA billing account type:
      • On the subscription details page, in Product details and upgrades, select View upgrades recommended for your org.
      • On Available upgrades, choose a product that includes Exchange Online Plan 2 and select Upgrade, then complete checkout.

If the View upgrades recommended for your org option is grayed out or unavailable, the current subscription may not be eligible for automatic plan changes. Common causes include:

    • More users than licenses assigned.
    • Service health or provisioning issues on the current subscription.
    • Another plan change or credit check in progress.

    In those cases:

    1. Ensure the number of licensed users does not exceed available licenses by unassigning licenses where needed.
    2. Check Health > Service health in the admin center and wait until all services are healthy.
    3. Wait for any pending credit check or plan change to complete.
    4. If still blocked, use manual plan change options (for example, purchase a new subscription that includes Exchange Online Plan 2 and then move users to it) or contact support as indicated in the admin center.

    Also note:

    • Exchange Online Plan 2 can be obtained either as a standalone plan or as part of higher-tier Microsoft 365/Office 365 plans. The Changing or mixing plans section confirms that it is supported to move from a standalone Exchange plan to a broader Microsoft 365 plan, or between plans in the same service family.
