No way to tell which 365 Tenant email "Review or update your payment method" is for

I have to make this post because the other one in locked. It's been over a year since this previous post and there is is no way to see what tenant these invoices are for.

We manage 100's of tenants as a backup billing admin. We are getting emails that a Credit Card was declined but there is no way to find out for who. The post below, Hendrix-C said there should be a X-MS-TenantId in the email header but there is not. Why does Microsoft not provide a way to identify who this is for so they can get paid?

    Dear @Brennan Kosty,

Good day, and thank you for clearly explaining your situation.

As a forum moderator, I genuinely wish I could directly access your account or review backend systems to determine which Microsoft 365 tenant the “Review or update your payment method” email is associated with. Unfortunately, that level of investigation isn’t possible from the forum, especially when you manage a large number of tenants.

Given that you oversee more than 100 Microsoft 365 tenants, the most effective next step is for the Global Administrator in your organization to create a service request with Microsoft Support. A Microsoft support engineer can review backend records, identify the specific tenant linked to the notification, and run the necessary diagnostics. If needed, the case can be escalated to a specialized team for deeper analysis. Ask The Global Admin in your organization to create a service request with Microsoft support to get advanced technical assistance and diagnostics. For detailed instructions on how to get support, please refer to Get support - Microsoft 365 admin. If you don't know who your IT administrator is, please refer to this article: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support

For additional assistance, use this link to find the appropriate contact number from your region: Global Customer Service phone numbers - Microsoft Support

I truly hope this helps you get the issue resolved as quickly as possible. While I’m unable to intervene directly, guiding you to the correct support channel is the most effective assistance I can provide from my position. Thank you for your patience and understanding, and please let me know if you need anything further. I wish you all the best.
