Hello Microsoft Support team,

I am writing to kindly request your assistance regarding my Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) renewal.
Microsoft Renewal Process

my renewal window closed on March 17 (14 days ago). I missed the dedline by a few days due to unexpected personal/job circumstances. I am very commited to maintaining my certification.

Would it be possible to grant a brief extension or a one-time exception to complete the renewal assessment? since it is my first renewal process.

I truly value this credential and it is very important in my current job. Would appreciate any help.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Best regards!
Andres Ignacio Condeza Bastias

An extension or exception cannot be granted once a certification has expired.

Role-based and specialty certifications are valid for one year, and they must be renewed before the expiration date. After the expiration date passes, renewal is no longer possible and the only option is to re-earn the certification by passing the required exam(s).

The renewal window opens six months before the expiration date; during that period the free online renewal assessment can be taken any time and as many times as needed until it is passed. Once the certification shows as expired, the renewal assessment cannot be used.

To regain Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300), the PL-300 exam must be passed again.
