I recently attended the event “Microsoft Virtual Training Day: Introduction to Microsoft 365, Copilot, and Agents”, which provides a 50% discount on the AB‑900 certification exam. However, when I try to schedule the exam, the discount is not applied. I also never received a voucher code, and the instructions stated that the discount would be applied automatically.

How should I proceed to have the discount applied?

For Microsoft Virtual Training Day exam discounts, the 50% discount is not sent as a separate voucher code. It is applied automatically to the Microsoft Learn profile that uses the same email address as the one used to register for the event, and it can take about five business days after the training to appear.

To proceed:

1. Confirm timing
   • Ensure at least five business days have passed since the Virtual Training Day session was completed. The discount may not appear before that window.
2. Verify the correct email is used
   • Sign in to the Microsoft Learn profile using the same email address that was used to register for the “Microsoft Virtual Training Day: Introduction to Microsoft 365, Copilot, and Agents”.
   • If scheduling the AB-900 exam via Pearson VUE, ensure the contact email in the transfer/scheduling flow matches that event registration email.
3. Try scheduling again with that profile
   • From the AB-900 exam page, select Schedule exam (or Schedule through Pearson VUE if shown).
   • Sign in with the correct Learn profile.
   • Proceed to checkout; if the discount is active on the profile, the 50% reduction is applied automatically at the final payment stage. No voucher code entry is required.
4. If the discount still does not appear
   • If more than five business days have passed and the correct email is being used, open a Credentials support request so the team can check the discount on the profile and the event registration details.
