Whats wrong with your product? Try to make other account, but cant pass by stupid "Let's prove you're human", I press and hold and keep told me "Please try again". And don`t ask me about other browsers, clean cookies, change wi-fi, internet, etc, or other things, methods or options like that, because I tried all of them and still not working, and no, i am not using Vpn, shame on Microsoft, it used to be great in the past, now it is like a scam, I dont know what to say more ...

If you can't pass the "Press and hold" test, and can't see any alternative choices (e.g. "Play an audio clip") then you might want to try a non-browser approach.

You can download and install the Free Outlook App on your phone or PC and it will prompt you to add and existing account or create a new one. The create option uses a different verification method than the browser based version.

Once you have created the new account you can uninstall the app if you no longer need it. Your new account will not be impacted.

    Hello,

The “Let’s prove you’re human” step is a security check to prevent automated bots from creating Microsoft accounts.

There are several types of verification (press and hold, rotating an animal, audio verification, etc.), but depending on your network or region, only one option may appear.

Before starting the security check, please look for other verification options.

Microsoft sometimes offers different types of “prove you’re human”

    challenges, such as:

    • Press and hold
    • Rotate an animal or object to the correct orientation
    • Audio verification (this one is usually the easiest)
    • Other visual challenges

If multiple options appear, try selecting the audio verification first, as many users find it the most reliable.

The “Hold down the button” human verification step can fail if something in the browser is interfering with how the control loads or runs, even if cookies, cache, browser, network, and VPN have already been checked.

A known cause is browser extensions that modify page content, especially ad blockers or privacy filters. These can break the verification widget so it never completes, no matter how the button is pressed.

To get past “Let’s prove you’re human” in this situation:

    1. Temporarily disable any ad blocker or content‑filtering extensions in the browser.
    2. Reload the Microsoft sign‑up page after disabling them.
    3. Try the “Hold down the button” verification again.

In the reported case, turning off the ad blocker allowed the verification to complete and the Outlook/Microsoft account to be created successfully.

If account creation still fails after that, an alternative is to:

    • Create the new Microsoft account from a different device, and
    • If needed, later add that account to Windows or Outlook as described in the Microsoft account and Outlook help articles in the references.
